West Side 5K June 24th, 2022
Join us Friday, June 24th at 6:15PM for the West Side Longest Day 5k. There will be a Kids Fun Run at 5:30PM . Show Some West Side Pride. From Beer City to Downtown, The West Side is Grand Rapids best side.

We are excited to bring back the 5k at Blandford Nature Center, after canceling last year.

Packet Pickup
Packet pickup the day before the race June 23rd at West Side Christian School 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM. 955 Westend NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504. Or you can pick up the day of the race at Blanford starting at 5:00 – 5:45 PM
Parking
We will be gathering at the Milo St. NW entrance ( 3143 Milo St. ) by the barn. There is no parking lot. We strongly encourage you to use the free shuttle that originates at Westview Church at 2929 Leonard NW. Shuttles will be running at about 10-minute intervals and start at 5:00pm.
The Trails
Since we have had a lot of rain this Spring, there are areas of the trail where you may encounter some muddy conditions. Please be aware that this is a trail run and there are also some trip hazards like tree roots and small stumps. We have done our best to mark these but please be aware.
Schedule
- 4:45pm – Start Arriving
- 5:20pm – Live Music at the tent. Food and Beverages are available for purchase.
- 5:30pm – Kids Run (approx. ½ mile run)
- 6:15pm – 5k Trail Run.
- 7:30pm – Awards Presentation
- 9:00pm – Last Call
- 9:15pm – End of the Evening.

The Longest Day 5k Trail Run is brought to you by West Side Christian School
Run for a cause and have an impact on the West Side of Grand Rapids. Sign up to run or walk to benefit our community and help raise funds to provide opportunities for students to learn in and through nature. Also, a portion of the race proceeds will help kids connect to the great outdoors through Blandford Nature Center.
